The five questions
Typed or dictated, one at a time, in your own words. Twenty to six hundred characters each.
- What has changed at your company? Tell it the way you would tell a customer.
- What is the one fact behind it: a number, a date, a price or a place? If there is none, say so.
- Who is this for, and what does it change for them?
- Who is saying this, and what would you want quoted, in your own words? Give the name and role.
- Who is your company? Two or three sentences a stranger would understand.
The second question may be answered "none". If there is no single fact, the release says nothing invented in its place.
What you get
- The release. Drafted from your answers, with your company named in the headline and your quote attributed the way you wrote it. A check flags any number, quotation or claim that is not in your answers before you approve.
- Your answers, published. The five answers appear on the release page under "Frequently Asked Questions", in your words, with your name on them, and in the page's FAQ schema. You edit them before approving and you approve them with the release.
- An owned-site block. The same facts as a short block of HTML to paste on your own site, so your site and your release agree.
- Premium tracking. Perplexity at every check; Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT on days one, two and seven; Perplexity alone on days thirty, sixty and ninety, with a dated record of each answer that cites the page.
Why your own words
Most of the questions AI engines are asked about a business are brand questions: who is this company, what did it announce, what did it say. A page that answers them in the company's own words, under a verified domain, is the easiest source to become. The standard release tells AI what you announced. The Interview Release tells AI who you are, in your words.
